It is that favourite time of year again for all you chocolate lovers out there! With such a vast selection of vegan Easter eggs to choose from we at VV TV HQ have the sweet pleasure of compiling a tasty round up of some of the  egg-cellent vegan choices for this Easter.

Plamil

Huge fans of Plamil here - and this years Easter selection will not disappoint! We love the little treats with the eggs and there is something for everyone - whether you love milky, dark or white chocolate.  Plamil has them all!

The hollow dairy-free eggs are available in Organic Milk, Vegan White and No Added Sugar Finest Dark, all of which come with an eminently moreish sharing bag of Plamil So Free chocolates or a bunny bar, set to satisfy a seasonal sweet tooth without compromising on taste. Even better, the eggs are packaged without plastic to ensure for a truly ethical Easter.

For those looking to wish their vegan friends and family a hoppy Easter, Plamil’s Bow-Tie Bunnies are another deliciously dairy-free alternative milk chocolate gift. The Organic Milk Alternative Bunny and No Added Sugar Bunny can be picked up from Ocado and independent health food stores, along with all three Easter eggs.

Made with high cocoa chocolate, the whole Plamil So Free range is manufactured in a bespoke vegan factory in the UK using certified cocoa. Every single product the brand makes is dairy-free and suitable for vegans, as well as being manufactured using 100 per cent renewable energy.

Smith & Sinclair

What a fun grownup treat and their jellies are super too! A grown up sherbet dib dab - and yes it tastes just like a hot cross bun!

On a mission to make adult more fun, the team at Smith & Sinclair, crafty creators of cocktail confectionery, have applied their signature adult twist to an Easter favourite and invented the Hot Cross Bun Sherbet Dipper. Yup, you heard us right.

It’s a hopping mad combination; an Apricot lollipop, Hot Cross Bun sherbet and Orange Liqueur Gel (that’s 10% alcohol). Just squeeze a drop of the boozy Orange gel onto the Apricot lollipop, dip into the sherbet (made from real Hot Cross Buns!) and get ready to make Easter More Fun.

Available for a limited time early - this is one treat you won’t want to add to the egg hunt so Please. Eat. Responsibly.

Swizzels

Bringing back our youth and now labelled vegan too! Horah!

British sweet maker Swizzels, has launched a limited-edition range of Easter themed treats that are the ideal chocolate alternative.

Swizzels’ Spring Selection bag includes a variety of Swizzels classics including, Parma Violets and Love Hearts, ideal for Easter parties and hunts.

Buttermilk

Sweet and dairy free with new flavours, new branding and new packaging – Buttermilk’s Easter offering for this year we feel is the best yet!

The award-winning confectionery brand has something for everyone this year with the launch of new Easter eggs – the range includes vegan and dairy-free eggs.

They have removed the plastic egg casing and found a clever design that removes the need for plastic tape to seal the outer box. The Easter eggs are now wrapped in foil and all other packaging is card, so all packaging is fully recyclable nationwide. Horah!

Cutter & Squidge

Easter is all about chocolate... even for vegans! You don't need to miss out on our popular filled Easter eggs. We have put together a very special dairy-free, egg-free, totally plant-based masterpiece!

This vegan easter egg is pure indulgence with flavours inspired by the humble hot cross buns. We have taken a dark chocolate half egg shell and filled it to the brim with delights. First a layer of vegan caramel sauce made from coconut milk, then cinnamon spiced digestive crumb, topped with our much loved luxurious vegan chocolate ganache. We finished this with candied fruits and dark chocolate eggs! Wow your vegan pal today, this will be like no other easter egg they have ever tried.

Montezuma’s

Britain's Greatest Little Chocolate Company - Montezuma’s - was founded by Helen and Simon Pattinson following a whistle stop tour of South America where their taste and passion for chocolate was first discovered. The trip changed their lives and they returned to the UK with a dream to create extraordinary British chocolate that boasted an innovative range of fun flavour combinations.

Montezuma's creates brilliant chocolate that can be enjoyed by everyone and the company continues to expand their range of chocolate to include many organic, gluten-free, vegan, keto and no sugar chocolate options. This includes their popular made without milk chocolate bar, No Udder, and their 100% cocoa bar, Absolute Black.

Aldi

Got to love Aldi with all their super vegan options.... and we love their Moser Roth free from egg.  However we have to say the little chocolates that came with the  egg are far too moorish!

Looking for a vegan option this Easter? Well look no further as Aldi has egg-cellent options available at the supermarket's everyday amazing prices.

A necessity for chocolate lovers is the Moser Roth Free From Egg . The wheat, gluten and milk-free Egg is intensely chocolatey with 65% dark chocolate combined with delicious hazelnut truffles.

Moo Free

Also now at Aldi's Moo Free .... so if you have a hankering for honeycomb, try the Moo Free Egg.

Available in Original Organic Egg with Choccy Drops or Organic Cheeky Orange Egg, the eggs are infused with pieces of vegan friendly honeycomb toffee making them perfect for kids or adults of any age who can't have dairy products or follow a vegan diet.

Did you know in 1873 J.S Fry & Sons of England introduced the first ever chocolate egg within the UK. The Bristol based company used a patented technique to grind cocoa beans using a steam engine, and as a result, the first egg shaped chocolate for Easter was created.
