Enjoy Restaurant Quality Meals Without Dining Out

We were delighted to hear that Cook is expanding their vegan offering. Cook products are uniquely different and give you that real "Home Cooked" feeling.

We enjoyed the Butternut Squash Nut Roast Stacks with Cook's roast potatoes, our own homemade vegan Yorkshire puddings and plenty of leafy greens.

Butternut Squash Nut Roast Stacks

We tried Cooks delicious Butternut Squash Nut Roast Stacks that are - of course - vegan-friendly - as well as handmade. The stacks are of toasted nuts, apricots, mushrooms and herbs, topped with roasted butternut squash, pink onions and cranberries.  They are delicious and definitely get the conversation started amongst the foodies.

  • Vegan-friendly and utterly delicious (so everyone else-friendly, too)
  • Perfect for a special occasion

Cranberry Sauce with Port & Orange

A delicious condiment that is made using whole cranberries cooked slowly with orange juice, port and spices. Adds an incredible taste sensation to a beautiful, cruelty free vegan Sunday roast.

We also enjoyed using this to make vegan turkey and cranberry sauce sandwiches - with a blob of vegan mayo!

Winter Vegetable Gravy

A rich, slow-cooked roasted vegetable gravy gently simmered with bay, rosemary and thyme.

  • Made with carrots, onions, celery, garlic, thyme, sage and rosemary, alone with vegetable and porcini mushroom stock.

Roasted Vegetable and Chickpea Curry

Other options in their growing vegan range include their rather decent sized mains....

Oven roasted peppers with cauliflower and spinach in a gently spiced chickpea and lentil sauce.

Serve with warmed vegan naan bread and a rice of your choice ( we opted for Lemon rice) and some of Cook's vegan Bombay Potatoes.

A creamy Indonesian-style curry with roasted vegetables, green beans and toasted cashews. Flavours of coconut, tamarind, coriander, lemongrass and garlic abound!

Yellow Vegetable Curry

The Cook vegan range is growing and it all looks amazing. We love that they show the calories and that the portion sizes are generous! The meal for 2 served 3 of us easily.

We asked what makes Cook's range so tasty and the answer is...

"Using some of the very best British ingredients, all of COOK's dishes are prepared by hand like you would at home and then freshly frozen at -35°C, locking in all the delicious flavours, and always without any additives or preservatives. COOK products are made for those who want to serve great food but who also want to be a host at the table and not stuck in the kitchen!"

With that said we couldn't wait to try them and we were not disappointed.

Thanks to Cook for gifting us the products for this advertisement feature.
