WHY? ~

We created this track & music video together to raise awareness on the needless, unscientific, cruel & unwarranted slaughter of one of the British Isles’ most beloved and unique creatures. Backed by politics & fear, not science nor public opinion, this expensive & ineffective badger cull could well cause more problems than it cures….even our friend Sir David Attenborough says so!!

So the government instituted a major inquiry to establish scientifically the facts. That involved culling 11,000 badgers and the results by the government adviser to that independent scientific group were that culling was not a viable policy option.

Who are K-9 Angels?

K-9 Angels is a UK registered charity created in order to provide a valuable link between dog rescuers all over the world and potential adopters in various EU and non EU countries.

In 2011, three animal loving media girls Anneka Svenska, Pola Pospieszalska and Victoria Eisermann decided to join forces in order to help re-home dogs existing in dangerous places and adopt them over into countries of relative stability. Alongside various charities and Romanian based Rescue organisations, K-9 Angels has been able to foster and place numerous dogs into safe UK homes.

One part of the video was shot at a unique location: inside a cold, dark nuclear fallout shelter, symbolizing the “safest” and one of the most feared places for humans. Many animals are forcibly held in places that are also cold, dark and far away from life. However, they are totally unsafe, unprotected and brutally butchered there. From there, their cries cannot be easily heard.

The video also shows that hip-hop can stay true to its original intention and act as a catalyst for positive change and not be inspired by “fame & bitches” as it often is these days.
